Microneedling — also known as collagen induction therapy — uses a precisely calibrated medical device to create thousands of micro-channels in the skin. This controlled injury response activates the skin's natural healing cascade, producing new collagen and elastin fibres. The result is a measurable improvement in skin texture, pore appearance, fine lines, and scar depth. When combined with topical actives applied during treatment, the micro-channels dramatically increase absorption, amplifying results significantly.
KM Advanced Skin's Microneedling offers optional add-ons of an INNOAESTHETICS® Targeted Ampoule and/ore extending to the Neck & Décolletage.
Benefits
Stimulates natural collagen and elastin production
Reduces acne scarring and post-inflammatory marks
Refines skin texture and minimises pore appearance
Improves fine lines and early skin laxity
Enhances penetration of active serums during treatment
Suitable for most skin types including darker tones
Who it's for
Microneedling is well-suited to those dealing with acne scarring, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, or dull, congested skin. It is particularly effective for clients who have not responded well to topical treatments alone. Suitable from early 20s onward.
Practioner notes
Microneedling is the treatment I recommend most frequently for clients frustrated by persistent acne scarring. Combined with exosomes or growth factors, the results at 3 months can be genuinely transformative — particularly for rolling and boxcar scar patterns.
